Take advantage of advanced utility savings with ProLine® Grid-Capable water heaters. The built-in CTA-2045 port allows homeowners to connect to local Utility Smart Grid Programs where available (requires module from local utility). Meets state of Washington and Oregon requirements. The EEA8-50-DFRS incorporates a 50-gallon (nominal) tank and 5,500 watts to deliver a first hour rating of 67 gallons at a Uniform Energy Factor of 0.92 and features a 8-year limited tank warranty. This ProLine® water heater features State’s advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.
