Overview
Tosot heat pump systems eliminate the need for a traditional central system and bulky ductwork by using small tubing that pumps refrigerant directly to discreet wall mounted or concealed units inside. Even more remarkable, this same system works in reverse during the cold season, absorbing heat energy from the outside air and moving it indoors to heat your home. The result is efficient year-round cooling and heating, zoning flexibility, and optimum comfort in any climate. A heat pump uses electricity to pump refrigerant and transfer heat energy from one space to another. In the summer, heat energy from inside is absorbed and released outdoors. In the winter, heat energy is absorbed from the outside air and released inside. Tosot mini-splits can provide extra cooling or heating capacity for those hard to cool areas. Commercially, their small size makes them ideal for small offices, providing individual temperature control.
