Fits Ultra 80 Natural Gas Boiler Series 1 and 2 - Includes: Heat Exchanger, Cover Plate, Burner, Electrode, Water Sensors, Compression
Fittings, Gaskets, and Hardware
The Weil McLain GV90+ boiler has a durable cast iron primary heat exchanger that extends product life - it is not uncommon for cast iron
boilers to last in excess of 40 years. A corrosion resistant stainless steel condensing secondary heat exchanger increases efficiency up to
5% by recouping heat energy from exhaust normally wasted when vented from the building. The extra heat energy is then added and
circulated through the baseboard or radiators to efficiently heat the home. Unlike most high efficiency boilers in the industry, the Weil
McLain GV90+ has extra-wide waterways (over 2 inches) allowing sludge and debris, often present in older systems, to flow through easily.
This limits scale build up, which reduces boiler efficiency, performance and can lead to premature boiler failure. Down fired, counter flow
boiler design improves boiler efficiency. The GV90+ offers 5 pass design in the primary heat exchanger and 2 pass design in the secondary
heat exchanger maximizing heat transfer and optimizing boiler efficiency. Built in dual circulator strategy provides boiler protection - it can
accept low return water temperatures (down to 60 degrees) with no additional mixing valves, pumps, wiring and installation labor. The
lower water temperature also allows homeowners the flexibility to add radiant heating for kitchens, baths or other living spaces without the
added cost of special return temperature controls.

Weil McLain takes condensing boiler technology to a higher level of performance. The Ultra Series 4 features a state of the art heat
exchanger with nanotechnology coating that works like "Ultra Armor", reducing build up in the heat exchanger while maintaining high
efficiency. Nanotechnology is a heat exchanger coating that combines anti-adhesive and anti-corrosion properties, which protects the heat
exchanger from corrosion and combustion residue build up. In conventional systems, aggressive exhaust particles can attach to the surface
and cause heat exchangers to corrode. Heat transfer is then reduced and the heating system's energy efficiency decreases. With
nanotechnology properties, biofilm formation is inhibited and allows residues to be easily carried out of the heat exchanger before they
obstruct the flueways. In addition, Ultra Series 4 has an advanced condensate management system that incorporates polypropylene piping to
further reduce the impact of condensate. Thanks to our nano-coated heat exchanger, the Ultra Series 4 requires no cleaning for a full five
years after installation. When it's time to clean, a simple rinsing of the coated heat exchanger with water does the trick. The Ultra Series 4 is
an ideal choice for single family residential applications. Homeowners will appreciate its quiet operation, ease of set up and control, and
unmatched comfort while providing immediate payback in energy savings. For light commercial applications, the Ultra Series 4 lets
contractors pair boilers in sequence to heat larger buildings. And, it allows you to control multiple boilers from a single control panel. Back-lit
LCD display and simple programming buttons make entering and receiving information easy. The homeowner has the ability to view current
boiler status, check water and outdoor temperatures, review boiler maintenance schedule and view installing contractor contact information.
Features
Includes an LP gas orifice for conversion
80,000 BTU minimum input - 399,000 BTU maximum input
4 inch PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene or Stainless Steel vent pipe
It's not uncommon for cast iron boilers to last in excess of 40 years. Ultra Oil features a commercial grade heat exchanger with thick
cast iron walls for durability and product longevity. It also features a three pass design concept that has been used by Weil McLain for over
70 years, because it provides better flame control and more efficient fuel utilization, which reduces heating costs. Strategically designed
flueway fins increase the heat transfer surface area, which extracts more heat and increases efficiency without penalizing boiler back
pressure. The wider flueways decrease the negative impact of fouling. An added benefit of the three pass design is the horizontal
configuration, which makes virtually all of the combustion chamber, turnaround, and flueways visible from the front of the boiler for easy
cleaning and maintenance. Silicone coated fiberglass rope insures a positive seal. Revolutionary rear section design directs the flue gas
flow into the flueways without sacrificing pressure drop through the inner and the outer flueways which eliminates the need for a rear
refractory. Ultra Oil features a full access, reversible swing away burner door, which exposes virtually the entire combustion area and all
flue ways for simplified inspection, cleaning, and maintenance. This design also incorporates a mounting bracket that can be installed on
either the left or right side of the front section for installation in small, confined spaces and corners. Ultra Oil has a modern appearance that
combines appliance like design features for placement in high traffic living spaces, with easy serviceability for the contractor. The top
mounted hinged control POD includes a factory installed external service switch and temperature / pressure gauge for easy viewing. The
unique, angled POD provides control system protection from dirt, moisture and temperature fluctuations, and includes a combination
temperature control and low water cutoff. Factory assembled, pre-wired terminal strips simplify field wiring of incoming power, mounted
circulators and additional limit controls that may be required by local codes.
