The special design and internal baffles of Taco Air Scoops slow water velocity to separate the air from solution. Thanks to this design, Taco Air Scoops efficiently remove air to provide noiseless, air-free hydronic heating, cooling or combination systems. They also provide an economic way to integrate air elimination by the connection of either a plain steel or diaphragm expansion tank. Quality features include one piece, cast iron construction, and engineered baffle to separate air from water, maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI and maximum operating temperature of 300 F (135 C).

The SmartPlus circulator has a mode select toggle switch on the electronic control board that allows for 2 operation modes. Pulse or Smart mode can be selected using the toggle switch located on the electronic control board. Pulse mode is indicated by a flashing yellow LED light. A solid yellow LED light indicates the pump is set to Smart mode. All operation is automatic, no manual timer or temperature setting is required. When set for Pulse mode, the SmartPlus circulator will run automatically every 10 minutes to maintain hot water at all fixtures. The run time is adjustable from 1 to 10 minutes. When set for Smart mode the circulator will run in Pulse mode as above for the first 7 days. During the first 7 days, the SmartPlus will monitor and record the household's hot water usage pattern. For the next 7 days, the SmartPlus will use the preceding week's usage pattern to cycle the pump This process will be repeated every 7 days. 72 hour memory backup in case of power failure - Automatic vacation function - Exercise function - 6 foot power cord - Remote sensor

The Taco 0013 is specifically designed for high head / high flow applications in Large Residential and Light Commercial systems. Ideal for high pressure drop Boilers, Fan Coil units, Heat Exchangers, larger Radiant systems, Heat Recovery and Geothermal systems. The unique replaceable cartridge contains all of the moving parts and allows for easy service instead of replacing the entire circulator. Universal flange to flange dimensions and orientation allows the 0013 to easily replace other models. Compact, low power consumption design makes it ideal for high-efficiency jobs.

To avoid boiler short cycling and large temperature swings, the PC700 is able to continuously adjust the boiler differential. Standard functions include warm weather shut down, minimum boiler supply temperature setting, and a starting water temperature setting. The updated Boiler Reset Control utilizes an easy to use automatic reset ratio calculation to set the relationship between outdoor temperature and supply water temperature (heating curve) to provide optimum control and comfort. The control has a liquid crystal display that clearly shows the boiler supply temperature as well as the other monitored temperatures and settings
