Overview

The ducted indoor unit requires very little duct work. The ducted indoor unit utilizes electricity to pump refrigerant and transfer heat from one space to another. In cooling mode during warm weather or summer months, the system efficiently moves heat from the inside space to the outdoors. Conversely, in heating mode during cold or winter months, the units utilize refrigerant, which is naturally colder that outdoor temperatures, to absorb heat from outside and transfer it to the inside space. The ducted indoor unit systems electrical, refrigerant and condensate lines use a 3 inch diameter hole in an exterior wall to connect the outdoor condenser and the indoor units. The ducted indoor unit system provides high efficiency comfort and can help lower energy costs.

The intelligent digital control systems allow for precise boiler control using indoor and/or outdoor temperature sensing, as well as options for controlling domestic hot water. In addition, the Greenstar includes a highly efficient 95% AFUE aluminum silicon heat exchanger.
