Legend model S-614 PVC compression swing check valves are constructed of ASTM D1784 virgin PVC resin. They provide backflow prevention in either the vertical or horizontal postion. Their full flow design eliminates restrictions. The compression-nut end connections permit installtion onto ABS, PVC, or steel pipe and are advantageous in situations where there is considerable vibration. This is paticularly true in the 2" size sewage ejector installations.

Overview
This 1 by 1 IN lead free dual check valve backflow preventer helps prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. The valve consists of a lead free brass body construction, with two plastic replaceable check valves, and stainless steel springs. It is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications and is to be installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter, in a vertical or horizontal position.
