Amtrol® designed and patented the first Extrol diaphragm expansion tank in 1954 to control system pressure and help reduce energy consumption in heating and chilled water systems. Over six decades later, Extrol is still the world's leading expansion tank brand, setting the standard for quality, reliability and innovation. All Extrol tanks are made in the USA at our ISO registered facilities by American workers dedicated to producing the highest quality expansion tanks in the world.
Amtrol® EXTROL® Boiler System Expansion Tank, Series: EX Series, 4.4 gal, 11 in Dia, 15 in Height, 100 psig, Acceptance Factor: 0.57, 2.5 gal Acceptance Capacity, 240 deg F, Heavy Duty Butyl/EPDM Diaphragm, Steel Shell, Urethane Topcoat
This potable water expansion tank is used on gas, oil, or electric, direct-fired, residential water heater and hot water storage tank applications to absorb the increased volume of water created by thermal expansion. It also maintains balanced pressure throughout the water supply system by keeping system pressure below the T&P relief valve setting. This field-adjustable steel tank is air pre-charged at 20 psi, volume 4.5 gallons, designed with an FDA-approved polypropylene liner and Butyl rubber diaphragm, copper-lined steel, and 3/4 inch male inlet connection. An expansion membrane prevents air-to-water contact in the tank ensuring a long system life. IAPMO listed and ANSI/NSF 61 certified. The maximum pressure is 150 psi (10 bar).
WATTS® Water Expansion Tank, Potable, Series: PLT, 4.5 gal Tan, 3.42 gal Acceptance Volume, 150 psi, ASME Yes/No: No, 10-1/2 in Dia, 13-1/2 in Height, Drawn Steel, 20 psi Pre-Pressure Rating, 200 deg F Maximum Temperature, MNPT, 3/4 in, Import
